Dr. Kara Monroe

Hi everyone. I’m Kara. I’m the founder and President of Monarch Strategies and it’s sister organization, I Wanna Be Me When I Grow Up. In my heart, I’m a learner and a teacher.

Professionally, I have more than two decades of experience in teaching, education administration, facilitation, creative problem solving, and leadership development. Most recently, I served as the Senior Vice President for Student and Academic Experience & Provost at Ivy Tech Community College – the nation’s largest singly accredited statewide community college.

Nowadays, you’ll find me running my business, helping people and organizations with strategy, organizational development, planning, technology, and productivity. I never stop learning and I’m currently on the path to earning my Accredited Financial Counselor certification. I spend as much time as I can traveling the world and hanging out with family and friends and most especially with my favorite four legged pal, Kona.
